Can I offer you a cup of tea?

See those right there? Behind the cup? Behind the kettle? Yep, tiles. Finally, we have tiles. Subway tiles no less. In MY kitchen. No longer will people come over and remark on our lack of tiles. Or ask quietly 'so, you do plan to tile there don't you?'

What's even better is that we did this as a weekend project together. No tradies to pay, no mess to clean up (well other people's mess anyway.) We love the result and are scratching our heads trying to figure out why we didn't do this a year ago.

It looks great. You guys are so handy - I don't think we would be brave enough to tile! Excellent job!

Hi, thanks so much for visiting my blog! I am not doing logos just yet (I bought that one on my own header), but I am learning how to do them properly, so keep checking back if you like!

Love your subway tiles. Did you get your chandelier hung (I laughed when I read the post about your Mum-in-law in the car).
Can't bring myself to read your post about a close encounter with a snake...me being a Kiwi and all, eek!
Thanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment :o)

wow they look fantastic! I have no tiles in my kitchen either... all they stuck in there was what looks to be offcuts from the kitchen cupboards. They are chunky and ugly.... where did you buy the tiles from?
