Frustration

I've been frustrated lately. And down. So I decided to a. stick up for myself and b. rearrange the furniture. The results have been a two-fold success. I'm back blogging and life is alright again.

Harvey Norman has a new range of outdoor furniture which I think would look equally lovely inside. What do you think?

For sale- gorgeous gates

Back before the GFC ate our business for dinner we used to own a metal recycling business. Because we still have a Yellow Pages listing we often get phone calls from people wanting to see us metal products. In our time we've picked up some beauties including a spiral staircase.

Last week we received a call from a lady wanting to get rid of these beauties. So we snapped them up and are selling them on. I decided to do a blog post because I'd love to see them go to a local house blogger or friend thereof. They are truly stunning and we would use them ourselves if we had any space for them.

The gates are currently chained to our fence so apologies for the picture quality. Obviously (hopefully) the tall spiky bits are our fence palings and the flowery and question mark looking parts are the gates. The picture shows the back of the gates.

Vital Specs:

  • 3m high
  • 1m wide per gate (so 2m total span)
  • Made from genuine solid iron (not tubed)
  • Heavy, very heavy! You would need to put up some serious poles to hold them.
  • Gorgeous flower patterning
  • Gate closer thingys (see my expert knowledge coming out) are all intact
  • We are in Brisbane and can deliver locally if needed
  • $900 neg.
If you are interested or know someone who is please sing out or direct them over here. I'd love you to cross post on your blog for other local interested 'housies' so please feel free. I know that these were many thousands of dollars new so whoever gets them will get a bargain.
